David Boruchowitz
An aquarist for more than half a century, David Boruchowitz is the author of numerous books and articles, mostly about tropical fish. Working at TFH Publications for more than a decade, David serves as Editor-in-Chief of Tropical Fish Hobbyist Magazine and as an editor for aquatics books. He has taken on the personal mission of making it easier for new hobbyists to succeed by simplifying and demystifying aquarium science. While cichlids will always hold a special place in his heart, he has yet to meet a fish that he didn’t find fascinating.
David is a rare man, who not only demonstrates extraordinary talent and creativity in his work, but who also has a deep, intrinsic understanding of nature, aquariums, and the people (us!) who make up our hobby. A kind, warm, and caring individual, he is always open to your questions and dialogue. David is an icon of the aquarium world, and a treasure to all who know him.
It is our great fortune and honor to have David as a part of the
CARES Preservation Program Team!
The C.A.R.E.S. Preservation Program is about our fish,
and it is about people.
We are one team, working together. Please, clear a tank ~ save a fish!
Because of you, we are making a difference! |
