Two important objectives of the CARES Preservation Program are to bring awareness to the critical situation of our fish in nature, and to share data and experiences through manuscripts so that others may learn to maintain those identical, and similar species. Sharing the knowledge that you have gained on your C.A.R.E.S. Preservation Program species at risk through the submission of an article to your society or school publication, and the subsequent publication of that article, is recognized by the awarding of a green seal of ultimate CARES achievement, to be placed on your Certificate of Recognition.
Through the generosity of our authors and with the kind permission of the origins of publication, the CARES Preservation Program has the privilege to bring you articles and information on CARES species at risk so that you may benefit from the experiences of others. Hopefully, this will take some of the ‘trial’ out of maintaining and procreating these species that are saddled with a fragile outlook if not for your successes!
If you have an article on any of the species listed on the CARES Conservation Priority List, please know that we would love to include your work on this website, so that others may learn from you too!
Thank you so much to all of you who have so generously contributed!
With Warm Wishes,

The C.A.R.E.S. Preservation Program is about our fish,
and it is about people.
We are one team, working together. Please, clear a tank ~ save a fish!
Because of you, we are making a difference! |
